Dillingen, 12.04.2024 - • EnBW and SHS have concluded a 50MW power purchase agreement (PPA) from the planned EnBW offshore wind farm “He Dreiht” with a 15-year term • Steelwind Nordenham, a company of the Dillinger Group, is supplying the monopiles for the “He Dreiht” offshore wind farm • The green electricity will soon be used in Saarland’s steel industry to produce low-carbon steel • SHS covering annual consumption of approx. 200 GWh with the green electricity

10 years of Steelwind Nordenham – a stable foundation for the energy transition
Nordenham, 21.06.2021 - Steelwind Nordenham is celebrating its anniversary: 10 years ago – in September 2011 – the Supervisory Board of Aktien-Gesellschaft der Dillinger Hüttenwerke (Dillinger) decided to establish the subsidiary company to produce the foundations for offshore wind turbines known as monopiles. The company is located on a shipyard site in Nordenham, at the mouth of the Weser river where it merges into the North Sea. A lot has happened since then.
