The first monopile has left the plant in Nordenham

Heavy goods transport with the first monopile leaving the plant

The first monopile of 6 "small" monopiles left the plant and got transported to Cuxhaven on 12 June 2014. It will be used there for the research project VIBRO (more information in the video below).

Dimensions of the monopiles: diameter: 4.3 m, length: 20 m, weight: 90 t
